Besides being enraptured from a hammock with the exclusive view of Ensenada Honda Bay, guests can visit other beaches that are easier to reach by boat.
The rocks work with the water as allies; they rise above the liquid as if floating. The clear sky grants a three-dimensional sensation to the mountains of rocks, as if they are about to come to life.
After meeting and bearing a part in with the other volunteers, I dared to ask the great question that was spinning around my thoughts since I had arrived: Where is the bathroom? The answer made me understand that the next two days would be exceedingly interesting.
Our next stop was an exhibition at the National Museum of Women in the Arts with photographers from Iran and the Arab world. The exhibition was a sample of seventy photos, where the female photographers themselves explored and confronted their culture.
The fact that the place is hidden that you can only appraise it from the doorway makes this first sight completely overwhelming.
Women wear long braids under the hats, as their ancestors did. In the next towns we visited I noticed the repeated use of the hats, but differently. I later learned why.
I hope that my photos help me share with you, a trip that was not what I expected (remember, I thought I was going to Italy), but that absolutely, managed to surprise me.
